Insauga reported on a scholarship for students in Niagara College’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program, made possible by East Toronto’s Left Field Brewing. Left Field Brewing is sponsoring two $1,000 scholarships to bolster diversity in brewing. To qualify, applicants must be members of the BIPOC (black, Indigenous, and people of colour) community. Co-founded by Mark Murphy (Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management, 2012) and his wife in 2013, the scholarship is a great example of how NC alumni like Murphy are giving back and supporting students.
