A January 17 segment from YourTV featured a winter tradition at NC where students from the Winery & Viticulture Technician and Beverage Business Management program experienced hands-on learning as they participated in the annual Icewine harvest at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
NC winemaker and alumna Allison Findlay (Winery and Viticulture Technician program, 2014) was interviewed in the segment describing the process of making Icewine and the skills students applied while harvesting grapes in the vineyards.
Several students were interviewed during the segment, including Jaynet Nyambura, an international student from Kenya. She enthusiastically shared her amazing experience participating in the winter harvest, expressing awe at witnessing so much snow for the first time.
