YourTV Niagara covered the 2022 Ontario Wine Awards, held on June 17 at Niagara College. At the awards ceremony, the late Paul Pender, an alumnus from NC’s Winery and Viticulture program (2006), was honoured through the inaugural Paul Pender Memorial ‘Rising Star’ award. This year’s award was given to winemaker Alec Baines, who also graduated from NC’s Winery and Viticulture program.
