The three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) profiled winemaker and NC alumnus (Winery and Viticulture Technician program, 2011) Dean Stoyka who is dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint at Stratus Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake, with the goal of inspiring others to follow suit.
The article highlights that Stoyka has been working on an initiative in partnership with students from Niagara College to study the effects of sustainability in the wine industry.
