Update: Testing requirements for partially-vaccinated individuals

In compliance with provincial requirements, students and employees of Niagara College who have provided proof of vaccination but are partially vaccinated (only one dose, or less than 14 days since a second dose) are required to undergo point of care antigen testing every seven days to access campus.

If you fall into this category, you have received an email from Niagara College with additional information including how to access on-campus testing. Further information can also be found here. The testing requirement will remain in effect until you are fully vaccinated (when you have provided proof of a second dose, and 14 days have elapsed since you received the second dose).

Students and employees with approved vaccine exemptions will be contacted directly by Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services or Human Resources with their specific antigen testing requirements.

If you are a student in the Practical Nursing or Personal Support Worker program with a mandatory testing requirement for your practicum placement, you will receive information on your process for testing directly from your program area.

Antigen testing is not an alternative to vaccination for those who have chosen not to get vaccinated or for whom a vaccine exemption has been denied.
