Thorold Today shared Niagara Health’s release profiling Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Niagara College alumnus Lifin Parakkal Thomas (Registered Nurse – Critical Care Nursing program, 2014). Thomas is inspiring others to embrace their journeys in the healthcare profession, proving that with hard work and dedication, dreams can become reality.
The profile details Thomas’ journey in healthcare, from establishing himself as a nurse in India to volunteering at a community hospital in Niagara Falls, studying at Niagara College, working as an Emergency Department nurse, completing his education to become a Nurse Practitioner, and eventually returning to Niagara Health in an NP role.
In his new role, Thomas cares for a diverse array of patients from various departments, including the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department.
