2018 Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program graduates Richard Park and Cam Cottrell were mentioned for their roles as brewmaster and head brewer, respectively, at Newmarket’s Old Flame Brewing Co. Located in historic Newmarket, their former professor, NC brewmaster Jon Downing, lent a helping hand for their inaugural brown ale batch.
The story is a testament to the passion and dedication to their craft of both faculty and graduates of NC’s Teaching Brewery.
