John Law with the Niagara Dailies wrote about Niagara College alumni Erica and Josh Karbelnik (Culinary Management Co-op, 2011), who will be returning to Niagara to show off their culinary talents as guest chefs at the Garrison House in Niagara-on-the-Lake on October 5.
The married couple competed on season nine of the Food Network Canada show Top Chef Canada – Erica cooked her way to winning the title of Top Chef, and Josh was a finalist in the top four. The Karbelnik’s are long-time friends of Garrison House owner David Watt, who remembers Josh in his college days as an impressive young chef while working at his former restaurant, Zest, in Fonthill.
Erica and Josh will each cook one course of a four-course dinner on Oct. 5 for a sold-out crowd.
