Columnist John McTavish, ab NC Professor and certified wine specialist, wrote a May 22 profile for the Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune) on NC alumna, educator, wine expert and author Jennifer Willhelm (Hotel and Restaurant Management, 1999).
The profile focusses on her new book titled “Sharing a Glass: Inspirational Memoirs & Memories of the Women Who Shaped Ontario’s Grape & Wine Industry,” where she begins the book by telling the story of her own life in the hospitality world, where her passion for food and wine led her to study at Niagara College, and where she would later go on to teach other students about wine tasting and service.
The profile also highlights that the book launch took place at NC’s Wine Visitor + Education Centre recently.
