An article in Kawartha This Week and The Peterborough Examiner features the White Cottage Café located in Fenelon Falls, Ont. The Café is operated by Brandy Watson and her daughter River, who is a Niagara College alumna (Culinary Innovation and Food Technology – Co-op, 2018).

The article highlights the business’ unique offerings, as created by River, noting that she “infuses a heaping serving of creativity into many aspects of the business including hand-crafted cream cheese spreads and scratch-made syrups for the café’s specialty coffees like the Fenelon Fog and peanut butter and jelly iced latte.” River’s creations also include “hand-crafted paninis filled with candied bacon jalapeno poppers, creamy brie and homemade macaroni and cheese,” walking tacos and a selection of pastries.
