NC alumnus Nick Hornby (Fitness and Health Promotion, 2006) is mentioned in a Newfoundland Growlers release as posted by Our Sports Central. Hornby was recently appointed as the new equipment manager to the Growlers, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs. Prior to joining the Growlers, Hornby was the equipment manager for the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs for five years.
