On September 6, the NOTL Local released an article on the Yellow Door Theatre Project (YDTP) that is set to launch its Goettler Family Foundation Film Academy on Sept. 15.
The article notes that Lori Ravensborg, Program Coordinator and Professor for NC’s Acting for Film and Television program was consulted to help design the program.
YDTP Founder and Artistic Producer, Andorlie Hillstrom states that Ravensborg “…has been instrumental in this [project]. I reached out to her and she took an interest immediately. She agreed to provide us with a detailed curriculum. She has a pretty dynamic resume in film and television, and she has a background in working with young people.”
The article also highlights that alumni Carter Vahrmeyer (Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film, Advanced Diploma, 2019), who also runs his own company through which he has produced a number of films and music videos, will be brought in as teacher for the new program.
