On January 19, NC alumnus Joseph Neufeld (Horticultural Technician – Co-op, 2013) was featured in Niagara Now for his efforts to help Niagara-on-the-Lake residents dig their way out of the snow on January 17 after a blizzard dumped record amounts of snow throughout parts of Ontario.
The article mentions that Neufeld is the owner of Imperial Horticulture and spends time in the winter months clearings snow from driveways and walkways for his regular customers for a small fee.
