A December 2 article in The Niagara Independent features Niagara College’s double win at the 2022 Premier’s Awards, held in Toronto on November 28 to honour outstanding Ontario college graduates.
Award-winning journalist Murray Brewster, who graduated from NC’s Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film program in 1985, won in the Creative Arts and Design category. Erica Williams, who graduated from the Social Service Worker program in 2018, won in the Recent Graduate category. Williams is the Founder of Erica’s Embrace Support Services, an organization that gathers and distributes Black hair care and beauty products to women’s shelters across Southwestern Ontario.
