NC alumni Sharath Vittal and Nitesh Shetty were recently featured in Montecristo Magazine for their Vancouver-based restaurant, Sula.
The two alum, who originally hail from different parts of India, met while studying at the Nitte Institute in Mangalore, India. They decided to further their education abroad and moved to Canada after being accepted into NC’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program, which they graduated from in 2009.
The article highlights Vittal and Shetty’s friendship and their path to purchasing Sula Indian Restaurant in Vancouver, BC after graduating from NC. They recently opened a second Sula location, which solely features South Indian-inspired dishes from their childhood.
