If you are experiencing COVID symptoms or live with someone who is symptomatic or tests positive, assume you are positive and isolate. This includes roommates for students living in residence. Do not come to campus.
- Self-isolate at home, even if you’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Be sure to follow the latest public health guidance regarding self-isolation periods, testing and self-monitoring: niagararegion.ca/health/covid-19/self-isolation.aspx
- Students should notify their instructor and follow direction provided.
- Employees should notify their supervisor and follow direction provided.

Support for employees is available through the Employee Family Assistance Program. NRPH also has a resource on how to cope during isolation.
If you develop symptoms while on campus
Students who develop symptoms while on campus should leave as soon as possible. If you cannot leave immediately, go to the COVID-19 Waiting Room on your campus until you can leave:

- Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus: W112
Employees who develop symptoms while on campus should leave as soon as possible If they cannot leave immediately, they should isolate in a private office or meeting room until they can depart.
