On June 23, the Hamilton Spectator announced that Soroptimist International of Dundas Ancaster Flamborough is celebrating Live Your Dream recipient and NC alumna August Parrotta (Practical Nursing Diploma, 2023 &
Pre-Health Sciences Pathway Certificate, 2020).
The Live Your Dream Bursary assists women who provide primary financial support in the family unit and are attending school to improve their lives and their family’s economic security.
Parrotta was not only the local club’s award recipient, but also placed first in Soroptimist of Eastern Canada Region. She will now advance to the next level for an opportunity to receive an additional award at Soroptimist International of the Americas.
