NC alumnus Mark Suknanan (Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film, 2012), a TV personality who won the title of Canada’s Drag Race in 2020 as drag alter ego Priyanka, has partnered with Vizzy Hard Seltzer on a project supporting LGBTQ+ artists.
A May 25 news release explains that as the brand’s community impact director, Priyanka will help “drive impact and increase visibility for LGBTQ+ artists by launching the #Vizzybility Project – a creative grant program providing funding, one-on-one mentorship from Queen Priyanka, and national visibility placements in mass media for art projects.”
