Broadcast Dialogue: NC alumna Karen Steele named 2022 Rosalie Award winner

Broadcast Dialogue featured NC alumna Karen Steele (Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film, 1991), who has been named the 2022 recipient of the Rosalie Award by the Radio Trailblazers. The prestigious award is named in honour of the legendary music director Rosalie Trombley and “recognizes Canadian women who have blazed new trails in radio.”

The article mentions that Steele, who is currently Program Director of 99.9 Virgin Radio (CKFM-FM) Toronto, started her radio career as the Program Director of CRNC, NC’s campus station, while studying in the College’s Broadcasting program.
