Shannon Burns, an alumna of NC’s Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film program (2013) was featured by Broadcast Dialogue for winning the 2022 Allan Waters Young Broadcaster of the Year Award, honouring Canada’s best young broadcaster under the age of 30. Burns was recognized on June 7 at the Canadian Music Week’s RadioActive conference.
