Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management alumna Kelsey Desnoyers (2019) thanked the beer gods for winning the Young Brewer of the Year award at the 2021 Canadian Brewers Choice Awards, held on December 9 at Brunswick Bierworks in Toronto. The Brewer’s Journal posted a video of the live-streamed awards presentation, where Desnoyers can be viewed accepting her award at the 43-minute mark.
During her final year of the Brewmaster program in 2019, Desnoyers received the award for best beer at NC’s annual Project Brew competition. for my Cuckoo for Cocoapuffs chocolate milk stout. Currently, she is the Head Brewer at Flux Brewing Co. in Scotland, Ont.
