Alumna Amy Audibert joins Miami Heat broadcast team

On October 24, the NBA’s Miami HEAT announced that they have hired Niagara College alumna Amy Audibert (Broadcasting – Radio, Television and Film, 2012) as their radio analyst and television studio analyst.

Since graduating from NC, the Niagara Falls native has graced multiple sports networks with her vibrant on-air persona. Most recently, she was as a courtside reporter and analyst for the Toronto Raptors on Sportsnet. In March 2021, she also made history when she was part of an all-female broadcast crew for a televised Toronto Raptors game against the Denver Nuggets.

Audibert has previous ties to Miami. She attended the University of Miami, where she was a former team captain and All-ACC Womens’ Academic Basketball team honoree during her four years as a member of the women’s basketball team.

In a release issued by the Miami HEAT, Audibert commented on the next step in her career journey.

“I am absolutely thrilled to join the Miami HEAT,” said Audibert in in the release. “After already fulfilling a basketball dream in suiting up for the Miami Hurricanes, returning to Miami to cover the game that I love so much at the highest level is truly a full circle story. I am so excited to continue a career with an organization that is committed to the excellence required to be a championship contender each year!”
